About the Role
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Lead the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and support daily operational needs.
Implement effective cash management and forecasting strategies.
Risk Management:
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and contribute to the development of risk management policies.
Audit Coordination:
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during financial audits.
Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
Financial Systems and Processes:
Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices in financial management.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Work with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Masters’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional finance qualification is a plus.
Proven experience as a Senior Finance Officer or in a similar senior financial management role.
Thorough knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
